Sunbathing

Core glanced over at Ween then quickly whipped her head back towards the Dragonair as she quickly dove out of the way of the energy feeling the hot sting as the screaming energy as it passed inches by her! She then dove again at the Dragonair attempting to do another scratch attack and seriously hoping this one would hit! Her eyes were wide and her pupils flared as the adrenalin flowed inside her like a raging river urging her on!

"YAHHHHHH!" She put one claw out in front of her nearing the Dragonair's strike zone and let loose yet another scratch! Weather it hit or not, no Pokemon knows!

Once Core was close enough, the seething Pokemon smacked her with another Iron Tail.

Ween still doesn't move.

Core swiftly dove out of the way just barely nicking her causing a small gash to form on her right side. "GUK..." Cure said through bared teeth as the iron tale struck. She again fell to the floor, unable to move as her energy had been completely drained, yet she wasn't ready to give up just yet. Her half lidded eyes remained on her 'enemy' wondering if this was it. She'd surely dug her own grave at this point. She glanced over at the small unmoving Eevee wondering if he was alright. "Wow, what a battle!" She said sincerely for the first time in a long time.

Her eyes threatened to shut all the way continuing to her usual fainted state yet she refused to be beaten so soon. 'No energy... no strength to even stand up... Good job, Core! You've dug your own grave this time! Heh, look at how mad she is!' The image of the Dragonair was slowly starting to go blurry as her fight to stay conscious was slowly becoming lost. Her tail flame was extremely low as well.

She glared at the two fainted Pokemon. "That's what you get for bothering me, you filthy scum," she spat, cleaning herself off in the water before flying to a better spot to groom.

Ween still wouldn't be moving, crushed into a little crater in the rock along the river bank.

Core opened her eyes after what seemed like ages (in fact had been 4 hours) noticing the small gap oozing blood. "Ugh... Nope, not gonna level up this time. She glanced over at the crater Ween had left and slowly got up "Hey Fuzzball! Rise and Shine!"

Ween still doesn't move, but cries in pain that was both evident, and traumatically so.

Core then sighed as her own wounds were still oozing a little bit in a red goo all over her scales. She then walked over to the edge of the hole and hopped down into it. "C-come on, we've got to find you a healer, fast!!" She then attempted to pick him up and claw her way back out of the hole this certain Eevee was known to leave. As much as she regretted it, she shouted loud for help knowing what her current 'reputation' would leave her with not much to pick from. "I know there's a oran berry cart somewhere nearby!! Come on Ween, we'll get you something at least..."

She then bolted as fast as her stubby legs could carry her towards the nearest Pokemon who could help.
