Description: 'It freezes prey by blowing its -58 degrees F breath. It is said to then secretly display its prey.' ~Platinum Pokedex entryMiyuki is a humanoid ghost, standing at about 1.4 m and weighing 27 kg, from the ice. What seems to be her kimono-covered body is hollow. She wears a ripped red sash around her waist, like an obi. Her arms are connected to her head and flare at the wrist like the sleeves of a kimono. Her hands have three fingers. Her head is topped with four jagged ice crystals that resemble horns, and the 'mask' that is the top half of her head has cutouts that reveal two ice-blue eyes with yellow sclera. There seems to be a crack in the 'mask' connecting to her left ice horns. Her eyes glow entirely yellow in the dark, during blizzards. The spirit that fills the hollow body and comprises of the 'ghost' part of her is purple in colour. Her voice, when she speaks, is ethereal, velvety, alluring, and reverberates with a ghostly, not-quite-there quality.
Personality: Miyuki seems apathetic, cold, calculated, and slyly clever. A textbook megalomaniac and narcissist, she seems to possess no empathy and doesn't play nicely in groups. If this was the human world, she'd be considered a psychologist's field day. She is of genius intellect and very good at acting, which emerges in her species' ability to imitate others with illusion. She loves playing games, and has a very dark sense of humour.
Likes: Fairytales, picnics, dancing, chaos, discord
Dislikes: Idiots, Poffins, shyness, naïveté, peace and quiet
Items: Miyuki sometimes wears a head chain of Ice Gems that seem to have been stolen from other Pokémon over time. (Not shown)
History:If human legends are to be believed,* then the original Froslass were once young women who were lost to the snowy mountains. Miyuki would tell you then that she was one of them; that she was an 11th century trainer from Sinnoh who succumbed to the cold on Coronet when she attempted to track down the Legendary Pokémon Giratina and failed. However, whenever she tells this story to any Pokémon who asks, it's always accompanied by a smirk and a glint in her eyes, and she's a notoriously good liar, so who knows?
In either case, Miyuki's recent history can be traced back about 21 years to her first appearance in Mew's realm, though no birth or evolution is recorded. For the recorded time, it seems that, when she can be coaxed from the ice caves in the Misty Mountains, Miyuki only causes trouble and discord, and has been rumoured to freeze unwanted intruders and display them as trophies. No one can prove it, though, since no one's ever seen them.
Example RP: 4. [Character] stumbles upon a young Pokémon bullying another. As [Character] approaches, the bully turns and snaps, "What're you lookin' at?" Write a brief RP response describing what [Character] would do in this situation."What're you lookin' at?" snaps a particularly swaggering Korokrok, claws clamped around the leg of a struggling Snorunt when Miyuki's shadow falls over their figures. She waits. When the offender looks up, she smiles slowly, cool and composed.
'Oh, please,' she purrs, 'I would say to carry on, but you're on my doorstep and seem awfully far from home, sandy.'
It sneers at her, baring its teeth. 'What's it to ye, princess? I think I can do what I want.' It kicks the whimpering Snorunt. 'Whatcha gonna do? Make me chilly?'
Miyuki's eyes glint, ice-cold, steely, and greedy. 'Oh, something like that.'
There's something in that expression that makes the Korokrok back away, though he still drags the frightened Snorunt with him. However, Miyuki doesn't seem to care about the smaller Pokémon; satisfied that they're far enough away from her cave, she disappears back into the darkness.
The snowstorm rages on. It's not her fault if the stupid reptile freezes out there.
